1955 Ford Thunderbird, Sale ( No Reserve )
Vehicle Description

1955 Ford Thunderbird, Sale

This is the first year of the baby bird, the 1955 THUNDERBIRD, TWO DR.body style and is one of the most iconic car's of all times. This 1955 Ford Thunderbird is numbers matching with original drive-train, this FordThunderbirdis ready to be driven any where and enjoyed. She is a smooth cruiser. As you walk around this car you will be impressed with her smooth lines and at the condition of the body and shines. Just beautifully!!! ( Please see Pictures ) This car has it's original sea green color from the factory, However, she was repaint about 35 to 40 years ago.The paint has some small imperfections in the normal areas for her age. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give her a 7.9.She doesn't look like a 65 year old. She has been garagedand loved all her life. The wheel wells are filled with classic styled white wall tires and chrome hub caps given her that sassy classic look.
Inside the green and white vinyl interior looks great and provides a comfortable ride. Turn the key on the 292 cubic inch V8 and enjoy shifting through the gears with this 3-speed manual transmission! This Thunderbird also comes with a white soft top that folds back behind the rear seat when not in use as well as a whitehard top. If you are looking for a first-generation Thunderbird that you can show off at a car show while also not being afraid to drive it this is an excellent option for you! I have driven this car all over the wine country of California and have enjoyed every minuteof it.I'm the 3rd owner car and the 2nd owner had it for almost 40 years! Many features have been upgraded or completed to maintain the drive-ability of this car.
For example; the wiring has been upgraded to the 12-volt system, newer alternator and wiring harness were installed, the lights and even back up lights have been changed, battery with kill switch, a 4 barrel carburetor, the seals have been replaced, a new WW Tires with less than 200 miles, brakes, and more.
Why am I selling her?I'm selling her because it's time for her to go to a new home where she will see the road more often than she is now. I put new tires on her in 2018 and I've put less than 200 miles on her if that. Old girls are meant to be seen and driven, not perched in a garageunder a car cover. I'm selling her at "No Reserve". And yes, under her currentvalue. I'm selling her for way less than what I bought her for. I'm not hurting for money and I really would like for her to go to a "Great Home". I'm not gonna give her away, but at the same time I want her to go to someone who will love her as much as I do and will drive her.
The price is set for a new person just starting to car collect. Please be genuine and a dead beats. Please bid if you are truly sincere. The car is located at my home in Santa Barbara county, CA.
Thanks for looking.
